Considering cutting the cord, rates keep rising, no sensible offers

My 2 years are up and I can't seem to find a sensible plan. Whether over the phone or on the internet, I keep getting offered higher levels and extra services when all I want is starter with HBO and internet. I can get no contract streaming services from a variety of providers. Why should I stay?

Cut the cord and went with Google TV. Loyalty dept had nothing good to offer. 2 days later, retention called and I am back. Very nice offer
