Charged for a data modem that I returned

Charged for a data modem that I returned

I returned my modem years ago. I had a confirmation number, but I figured I could get rid of it after a few years kind of like financial records. I admit that I haven't looked at my statement ever since I signed up for online statements, and that's my fault for having faith in the company and me being lazy. I just looked at my statement a few hours ago and noticed the charge. What do I do? I'm posting here because chat isn't working (error: cannot create / shadow copy 'comcast.cs.web'), and I hate being placed on hold. I'm probably out $500-600 minimum.

Hello purplewhirly. I can help you submit a research request for this modem you have returned. I am not sure how far we'll get without a receipt, bet lets get started. Please send me a private message and include your full name, service address, and account number so I can assist you.
