Cancelled service but tv still works.

Hi, I cancelled my service with a disconnect date of October 15th but my tv service still works. I have called (twice) and chatted (twice) and was assured I’m not being charged for anything past the 15th and to return the equipment when the service shuts off. Is this correct and if so why does my service still work when I cancelled and had it shut off on the 15th? Thanks

Hello kko_mjo30. If you cancelled your services, you will want to return the equipment back to your local XFINITY Store as soon as possible to avoid any unreturned equipment fees. I can assist with reviewing your account to investigate why your services are still on.
