My latest statement is almost 35 higher than the previous ones have been. I have made no changes to our service. I am very frustrated with this, and would like to know what options other than changing providers are available.

Hello Jimtelecaster. 

 

Sudden increases in fees are usually at the end of a promotional period. The discount has expired, and you rates may have gone to everyday price.  If you review your past bills, you'll most likely see a warning of it somewhere on the bill.  You can line up the new bill with an old one and go through it line by line to find out where the increased cost came in.
