Bill constantly increasing.

I am really livid at how my bill seems to be increasing monthly while the service stays the same. I have had comcast for 5 years with the 3 package deal. Which i got enrolled in unbeknown to me. Initially i was paying around 150 a month. When i realized i had a phone line that had never used and do not need. I called customer service, i left the phone call feeling more confused and mad at the idea that if i took out the phone line from the package my price would increase. Fast forward to 3 months ago my bill has now doubled to 300 dollars a month. I can barely afford to pay for my classes let alone a 300 dollar cable bill. I need my internet to accomplish my homework for my classes at college. I would hate to have to resort. To getting a new company. My current bill is now 900 something dollars of which a month where i had no service is included. Can someone from customer rentention please help me?

what services do you have and what kind of equipment as well.
