Another happy (#$%^) customer.....

Why is it that a loyal, hard working, ontime paying existing customer has to jump through these hoops of posting on your forum just to try and get a fair deal on his internet?

 

I spent 30mins on chat last night looking to downgrade to an internet only plan for a vacation home during the offseason. Didn't want to cancel, just wanted to shut the TV off and have a slower internet for alarm system for the winter months. The chat rep offered me "Performance Internet @ $39.99  - 25mpbs" which I though was good enough. Because your chat rep couldn't change a downgrade I had to call in or go to local store this am. I went to the local store this am and they told me that the plan offered was a "new customer" price and would not honor.  Aggravated, I came home and found the chat log I had printed to a pdf after the conversation. Lo and behold it had printed 3 pages of blanks....HMMMM. Surely, I thought, Comcast must have the chat log so I called into CS and guess what...no chat log there either and no notes. I explained that the previous nights chat rep had setup the entire plan so all I had to do was make a call or stop in the morning. The CS rep said "well get the chat log off your email"....checked both registered emails and no emails from Comcast there either.  My word against theirs, guess who lost?

 

Maybe one day the population will say "enough is enough"!
