2017 Price Increase

So after being a loyal customer for almost 10 years, and praising the service I've had with Comcast, I'm now being forced to look at alternative cable carriers. My monthly bill over the last few months has gone up by 50%! I've tried to talk to a representative over the phone and gone into a store, but to no avail. The service I received in the past was great and helpful, but now I seem to be bothering them by asking what changed and if there are any other options for loyal customers.

 

I've read many messages here with similar experiences and I'm hoping someone can explain the price increase, the change in customer service, and if possible offer reasonable alternatives?
