2 occasions when I paid bill and Xfinity "can't find it"

2 occasions when I paid bill and Xfinity "can't find it"

In July 2017 I paid my Xfinity bill and it never was credited to my account.  The money was taken from my bank account.  I had to jump through hoops providing documents and signing waivers for the bank to talk to comcast and finally they gave me a "courtesy credit" of my payment amount.  Then again in October 2017, the same thing happened.  Same hoops, same fight but this time all I get is "we can't locate it."  I have done everything under the sun with my bank to find the money.  The odd thing is, I pay the same way every month.  Online, with the same card since the service started.  Yet the CSR is asking me if I put in the wrong card number.  Now they are going to reverse my originial payment a/k/a courtesy credit and add in a bunch of fees becasue they claim they can't find the payments.  They give me no other info, just that.  I feel like this is a scam and I am pretty sure that someone on Comcast end is doing something fraudulent.
