2-Year Contract

2-Year Contract

I was supposed to be on a 2-year contract with a guaranteed price of $119.10.  That changed with my August 2017 bill.  I don't understand when it is printed right on the bill that a 24-month agreement applies.

Things that will make your bill increase:

  • A promotion rolled off; promotions are valid for 3 or 6 months or 1 year
  • Equipment fees increase
  • Other fees and surcharges increase

Your bundle price will stay the same.

Re: 2-Year Contract

Babsromney, same thing has happened to me. You think you will know for the 2 years and suddenly bill goes from $122 to $200 because we didn’t charge for extra outlet last 2 months??? How many months bills do I need to keep so I can see what they’re saying I didn’t get billed for, thus didn’t pay? How many months is it right to go back and add to a bill I thought was paid? So u talk to 1800comcast and they adjust down to $144, you mail in that amount( still not sure why went from 122 to 144) but you think ok I can manage that. Then suddenly email saying if you don’t pay the rest of the $182 bill( bill that 1800comcast adjusted to $144) your service could be interrupted. I’m just mad, put people you’re talking to bill about in there that makes the notations that next agent can see. Plus I just switched to cell service with Comcast, didn’t know I was about to get hit with upped charges on cable, internet at home that I don’t understand or agree with which makes me rethink putting all services with one company. I’ve been waiting for call about the disputed charge but haven’t received it yet. I’ve been with Comcast since 1984 when I moved to this town.
