"Adult" channels

I have been told by my local office that there is no way to remove the "adult" (porn) channels from our TV. I know we can block the content, but the titles are now as offensive as the programs, and I have 2 young teens in our house that I do not want to see those titles. They are way beyond suggestive. What good are parental controls when they can still see the filth in the titles? No one at our office could tell me who I should contact to complain. Does anyone have any information on where I might go with my complaint?

You can block the titles from appearing.

To block the Adult titles from appearing in the guide grid, use the Comcast silver remote control, press the Menu button twice, then select Parental Control, then Hide Titles. Here you can hide the titles of Adult and TV-MA programs or just Hide the Adult titles. Choose your option and then press OK/Select. A checkmark will appear next to your chosen option.

Re: "Adult" channels

Unfortunately, Comcast has nothing to do with how the movies or series are rated. This being said, they can change their Parental Control set up...but they will not. You can only block 20 titles at a time. There are almost 30 plus "porn" shows on Showtime on Demand alone. I, along with countless people who have posted, would like to watch shows like Sex and the City and of the like without putting in a pin by blocking it. Is this show a porn? No it isn't...and neither is countless other shows and movies that have the MA ratings. My solution was to drop certain channels. I would like to watch HBO, Max, and Showtime, but Comcast will not continue to get more money from me until I can have full control over Parental Control blocking.
