Who ever reorganized the xfinity x1 channel guide is a <Edited for violating forum guidelines: "Inflammatory Remarks"> in my opinion. I been canceling hundreds of scheduled recording because they don't add repeat programming to the guide causing many of my recorded schedule shows to be re-recorded after I have already watched the new recording. The xfinity channel guide is terrible and totally illogical. They put local access cable programming spread out everywhere making hunting for a channel painfully slow and tedious. There is completely no logic in the channel organization. I pay big money for tv cable and I should get a be refund for this terrible channel guide service. Recently Comcast dropped my favorite local channel 8 WTNH from New Haven CT. Do I get a letter informing me that this local channel is going to be dropped or why I will no longer be able to watch this important local station? NO! Comcast just drops it from my TV guide and I have to call and all they offer is to extend my cable contract for another 2 years for $30. less. I felt like telling them <Edited for violating forum guidelines: "Inflammatory Remarks">. If there were another local cable provider I could switch too in my town I would do it in a New York minute.

@Paytomuchforcab,

We apologize for the inconveince the channel line up has caused. We have added a new channel lineup from channels 1000-1999 that are organized in a different way to make finding your favorites easier to find. More information about this change can be found here: http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Channels-and-Programming/Channel-Lineup-quot-New-Channels-1000-1999-quo...

Also, as for channel WTNH (local channel 8) there was a notification about this change sent out with your March 20th, 2017 billing statement. Below is the information that was included in that statement:
