I am unsure about Reelz HD, but I bet we get TV Land HD once Comcast has to negotiate a new contract with Viacom.  Viacom has MORE than enough leverage with MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Spike, Nickelodeon and several more that I am sure they could force carriage of TV Land HD then if Comcast doesn't want to work a contract to add it sooner.

The majority of programming on TVLand is dated and recorded using the technology available then...   you would not see much difference in the viewing department....

That is very true.  However, the new stuff they are airing would be great in HD.  Just because it wouldn't make a difference for the older content is no reason to hold it back in the 20th century.  New content will and is coming to tv land.  I understand from other posts that there is an HD tv land. Would be VERY easy to add it to the lineup.

My Word!!!!  Looks like we have been waiting quit a few years now for Comcast to start broadcasting TV Land in High Def.  TRust me, we have now gotten a hd TV which is a good indicator that most people in the country now have high def TV.  THus, when will Comcast make it to the turn of the century?  We did, now how bout Comcast???????

Reelz Channel HD is carried in some areas by Comcast currently. Philadelphia (city) has it, Albuquerque, NM has it, and some areas in the Southeast have it.

With the exception of Dish Network and Suddenlink (who has dropped all Viacom channels), just about every other major provider has TV Land HD now available to almost all or all of its customers.
