I have 3 teens, all soon to be ages 16 (girl & boy twins) and 18 yrs old (September Babies)!

I am able to turn 2 accounts parental control ON & OFF, but I'm having trouble with one of my son's.....

At first, I could turn it on & off, but he wanted to watch WWE and I turned it off for a while.

NOW, I can't get it to turn on anymore...... PLEASE HELP!

He has ASD and enhales the internet, Lord knows he definitely needs Parental Control on all devices!

Desperate Mom😩

You're welcome. My next suggestion would be creating a new user profile for him and deleting the one that won't let you toggle Parental Controls on if that doesn't work.

Hi yrdyallen2, can you provide some detail around what happens when you try to turn it back on?

From the Parental Control pop-up, are you able to select the On button and then Apply Changes? Does it give you an error?

Hello, yrdyallen2. You can find information regarding how to customize Parental Controls here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/personalize-customize-hnetwork-xfi/. I would recommend removing his devices then re-adding them to see if you're now able to toggle Parental Controls On for his profile.

What a great idea! Why didn't I think of that?

Of course, I'll have to wait til he falls asleep to do it, but I think this may work! 😀👍

I finally got a chance to go to our network on each device, forget it, and reconnect. Now I'm going to try forgetting it on my xfi account and just have him sign back in. It's 1:06 am, so it will be later on before we know if it works...... thanks for checking on us!
