Olympic OnDemand not watchable

Just an observation, I was trying to watch the Snowboarding finals on demand, however because of the near constant commercial interruptions, (much more often than live TV and regularly in the middle of an athlete’s run) and the inability to fast forward anything, it became exceedingly frustrating and we turned it off. Please easy up on the needless commercial repeatative commercial inserts.

Don't count on it!  It's most likely their way of supposedly paying for all this increased coverage. We are also seeing more commercials to offset the cost of all Comcast's commercials hyping their coverage of the Olympics. And of course many of us quit watching just like you. On the flip side it seems some people are happy with the 4K delayed programing for the video quality, but some minor problems with Dolby Atmos audio (micro drop-outs).

 

I have actually been watching 4K programing on You Tube for the last hour while replying to your post.

Good afternoon!  I'm glad your enjoying the Olympics in Atmos!  The team is working to correct the slight drops in audio in the Atmos streams.  You'll notice new assets posted to On Demand will be corrected and the previously posted assets will be replaced with fixed versions.  Enjoy!
