It is at the sole discretion of Showtime. They make the decisions on how fast a new episode appears on demand, and how long it stays on demand. Comcast, unfortunately, has no control over this, per their contracts with each network.

For premium channels like SHO, usually next day (at midnight). For network shows, usually one week after airing.

The bad thing about On Demand is that we never know when a new episode of any show will air.  Some stations air the same night right after the show has aired on television, and some shows take days.  There have been times when shows never make it to On Demand.  The only thing we can do is keep checking back periodically.
