Hello,

Since it is usually the network who has the rights and not comcast I would call channel 57 and ask them.

FX could have any channel number at any cable provider's discretion.

I think we have clearly demonstrated, in this we-are-not-Comcast, mostly customer to customer forum, that we don't know. You could try contacting Comcast http://www.comcast.com/Corporate/Customers/contactus/ContactUs.html or stopping in at a Service Center http://www.comcast.com/Corporate/shop/retail/StoreLocator.html, but they might not know either. Why do you think that FX might be going away?

Fox and DirectTV are going at it on carriage issues just like Dish and Fox did last year. Apparently Direct may drop some of the Fox channels from the lineup like Dish did.

If you are concerned about contract expirations, the renewals page claims that there are no expirations in October or November: http://www.xfinitytv.com/contractrenewals

it's DirecTV that's threatening to drop Fox channels next week, not Comcast.
