They won't give me refund on the wrong charges for 9 months

I have signed up for paperless and automatic payment.

 

I changed the service last year in Aug 2017 and I didn't know they charged me $10 per month for inactivate modem.

 

I just found out about this and I called.

 

They said there is nothing they can do about this.

 

Are you serious? You must be kidding me that Comast charged the wrong item on my monthly bill and now I can't get any refund back.
