Requesting help to lower monthly bill

I'm a long time Comcast customer (over 20 years, maybe more), but now that I'm retired and living on a fixed income I'm finding that the Comcast bill is getting higher than I can manage. I enjoy the service and have (almost) no complaints about it, but I really need some help lowering the monthly bill. Thank you.

We've been a customer since 2011. We are also now on a fixed income. Our current plan expires april 2. I called customer retention to see what could be done to lower my bill considerably. All they did was offer my current package at the same rate. I told the rep to put in a cancellation on the renewal date.
