I am a long time customer since when Gill Cable was the owner,Same company now is owned by xfinity.Wow thats a long time yes? Anyways....

Going thru my files for taxes i came across overcharges on my 2 year contract.After 1 year of a 2 year agreement my price increased .Was supposed to be 124.80 for 2 years.Second year i was overcharged over 300.00 +.Last month of contract went up to  178.95...? What happened to $124.80 for 2 years?.Easy fix for Xfinity to make a very long time customer happy, redo the 2 year agreement at original price starting next month.Which was 124.80 +HBO+Streaming,ect or at least refund overcharges and add 1 year of the original contact terms.

example below is subject to going back and looking at which is the original month/year start terms in contract.

May 2015 124.80       =  Contract terms

to

May 2016 124.80       = I am happy with that

Start of second year

June 2016 $145.70...price increased from 124.80

July           $158.22...price increased again...

Sept               ^      

Oct                 ^

Nov                ^

Dec                ^

Jan 2017 $159.72...price increased again...

Feb                ^

March            ^

April               ^

May         $177.84...price increased = End of 2 year contract

Just wanted to let you know xphil you are not alone.Happened to a lot of my friends also.Price increases after contract agreed to terms.

fallguy104, it sounds like you may have been enrolled in a tiered promotion. Tiered promotions, usually lasting two years in total, have a set rate for year one and another rate for year two. While the year two rate may be higher than year one, it is cheaper than the current market rate for services. I'd be happy to see what we can do to lower your current rate.
