I understand that Xfinity rates and fees are increasing as of the first of the month next year.  However, I have a 2-year deal with Xfinity as of July of this year that includes cable, internet, and phone service for $119.99 a month.  Am I correct in assuming my rate will not be affected by this price hike?

Hello newpowersoulmat,

I apologize for your billing concerns. You are correct, since you are in a 2 year contract for $119.99 your monthly service rate will not change. Please keep in mind that any taxes, equipment, or fees are subject to change. If you have any other questions or concerns please reply back.

Not true. Comcast is, as usual splitting hairs. They did raise the rental fee on digital boxes from $3.99 to $4.99. This for a piece of equipment that has never been changed and was originally provided at $1.99/mo.
