Greetings, I was wondering when online chat is avaliable via customer service. My bill is due in 6 days and my husband mailed it off this morning, I fear that it won't process in time and that a late fee will be incurred as well as service interruption.

I'm unable to voice chat at this time, however, a time of onilne chat in EST zone would be appreciated with the days too so hopefully this issue can be resolved.

Thank you.

Hello LadyJerrico.

I certainly understand your concern regarding your payment. We do give a grace period before we charge any late fees. If the payment was mailed off today, it should reach us soon enough for you to avoid any late fees. I also see that you are current with your account. You will not have to worry about being disconnected at all. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

May I ask the days of the grace period? Also would those days include weekends (I assume no Holidays are part of this though). Thank you kindly for your prompt response.

Solution

The late fee is applied if a payment is not received within 30 days of the first day of your billing cycle. For example, the billing cycle on your most recent bill starts on 4/18. Your bill is actually due on the 26th, but no late fee will be applied until 30 days after the 18th.
