Billing Error/Issue

I have a bill for a month of service that I didn't have. The CSR in our local Xfinity said the charges would be removed, however they are still there and because the billing issue is past due my service was shut off today. I spoke to a CSR in billing but she honestly couldn't understand what was going on. I'm beyond frustrated and ready to look for another service provider! What do I do now?!
