Billed Late fee 2 days before due date - All payments posted before due date

I was billed onetime charge for $16.28 in addition to a $5.99 charge on 3/17/17. My due date is the 19th of each month, so 3/19/2017, and I had 1 payment post on 3/17/17 and another on 3/18/17 paying the full amount due at the time.

 

Why was I billed a late fee 2 days before my due date?

Hello Bryan230,

 

The late fee assessed was for a past due balance from the prior bill. If you look at the bill dated 2/28, there is a balance forward. This is the past due amount. This late fee is valid.
