blinking ds light

The ds light on our modem has been blinking for about 4 hours and I haven't had internet access during that time. I've tried to reset it multiple times and have had no results.

What else can I do?

I see three Comcast trucks down the road. Could they have something to do with it?

That means that no signal is getting to the modem. And of course the "trucks" likely have "something to do with it". They are probably working on the line/s. You could always try calling in and asking or just wait it out.
