PLEASE HELP!!! I keep losing my internet connection if I try to surf more than one website or if I try to send an email from AOL or Comcast Account. Here's what's happening - so frustrated!!!
Desktop Doctor – Troubleshooting Connection: DHCP
The Network Diagnosis and Repair Wizard had determined that a network card in incorrectly configures. The card should be able to receive a new network address each time it connects to the Internet. Instead, it is setup to use a fixed address at all time.
The Network Diagnosis and Repair Wizard will reconfigure the network cards to use a new network address ieach time it connects to the Internet.
Click Next to reconfigure your network devices and verify network connectivity.
After clicking Next, I get the message “The Network Diagnosis and Repair Wizard was unable to solve your network problems.
Re-checking connectivity, please wait.

Then I get a message from Network Diagnostics for Windows XP saying:
There might be a problem with your modem and/or router. Turn off your modem and/or router. Check all of the cables between the modem and/or router and the phone or cable jack to make sure that they are plugged in.
Turn on the modem and/or router and wait 3 minutes. Click Next to continue.
After following these steps, I get message saying “internet connectivity has been successfully restored”
And then it happens all over again when I try to send email from AOL or from my Comcast email address. After calling Comcast the other day, they tell me it’s a “server problem” with AOL and then they told me it’s a network card problem. I signed on to my Comcast email and the same thing happened. What is going on???
Thanks so much for your assistance. Here's the info I got when I did run and ipconfig: I will now check the modem connection by clicking on link you provided. When I have the problem, Desktop Doctor opens automatically - I don't know how to close it so it doesn't open???
