keep getting error 11700. i need to purge all the repeat devices from the account.

I have escalated your issue to the Comcast Team available to these forums. Check back often for a reply in this thread or via Private Message from a Comcast Official Employee.

 

note: You will need to change your account password, too, prior to the 'fix' by Comcast.

I can do that for you. Please consider NOT clearing cookies/cache whenever you exit your browser, as that’s where the device provisioning information is stored. Clearing on exit causes a new device to be added to your account every time, which eventually leads to this error. Give me a few minutes to log in and start the purge.

Your devices have been cleared. You do not need to change your password, but you will need to log in again. (@Rustyben, changing one's password is for the scenario where someone you don't want to be using your account is using your account. That's not the case here.)
