Wrong Channel Lineup on my Xfinity Remote App

For some reason, I am seeing a different channel lineup on my Remote App than the channel lineup I actually have and have had for some time.  Any ideas?

on your x1 set top box connected TV check the username on the "account details screen" (xfinity button >> gear(settings) >> my account >> account details)

 

be sure to log in with that username.

I tried looking up whatever this x1 thing is, as I just read about it here when I came to post.  I still don't know what it is and am pretty sure I don't have it.  On my cable box I did try to look for my account details but I can't find anything about it in my menus.

Same thing here. Suddenly it's the New York lineup instead of Philly.  Just happened.  And there's nowhere in the app to enter a zip code, but I haven't changed my address or service.

You should understand that this is an issue for those of us who DO NOT HAVE X1.

This is a known issue and Comcast has absolutely NO idea what is causing it or how to fix it. I am in Houston, Texas and I am getting the lineup for somewhere in St. Paul, MN.  Have talked with their tech support on Tweeter and they have no clue why it does this.

I've had the same issue for a month now on both the Xfinity TV and Xfinity Remote app. Comcast is advertising these non-functioning apps everyday. Why? By adding a zip code entry block to the apps the user could self correct the issue. Please fix it.
