What is wrong with netflix

Netflix has been sporadically not working for two days.  I am not paying for it if I cannot watch it.  What is wrong with Comcast that they cannot fix a connection problem.  The streaming is running on the computer but the TV is frozen. Any other network is working just fine.  WHAT THE HEY IS THE MATTER WITH YOUR FIXIT TEAMS?????????

How are you watching Netflix on your TV? Are you using an X1 cable box, a SmartTV, or some streaming device? If it's the X1 box, it has it's own internal cable modem, and from posts seems to only be using a single channel instead of the multiple channels regular modems use. That can easily clog up if multiple users are that same channel.

I have escalated your issue to the Comcast Team available to these forums. Check back often for a reply in this thread or via Private Message from a Comcast Official Employee.

Hello MaggieJane. Thanks for bringing this Netflix on X1 issue to the forums. I have reviewed your account and have found your account has been linked to a known issue with loading Netflix on X1. At this time our engineering team is engaged and working to get this resolved. They have stated, the best work around at the moment, is to go to the Netflix settings menu and sign out. Then close Netflix and sign back in. 

 

I will keep an eye on your account and our internal network tickets, and notify you once I see these issues are resolved.

Hello again MaggieJane. Our engineering team was able to reach a resolution with Netflix that was causing Netflix on X1 issues recently. This issue has since been resolved. Please let me know if you encounter any other problems.
