On my tv, I can usually get TV Land on demand. I am traveling and using my iPad and TV Land shows are not available on the app. Nor can I sign in on the TV Land app even though it says Xfinity is supported. Unlike the other providers, if I select Xfinity to log in, it asks me to log in to TV land and not to the provider, but every time I do that, it gives me a weird error (my login exists on Comedy Central, I am locked out for 24 hours). What is going on? On the TV land website, xfinity is not even an option, so is the brand new app already incorrect? How can I watch TV land shows when I am not in front of my TV?
Comcast may not have an agreement with Viacom to allow app access. It's all about the $$. It's similar on my Roku. You can sometimes use Xfinity logins for non-Roku apps (iPhone, Android), but not Roku.
That would totally make sense if they didn't have xfinity in the app, which is the latest and only version. Now it is misleading and confusing.
