Playback error 106000

Playback error 106000

DVR recorded Mr Robot. I successfully downloaded it onto my Android Samsung Galaxy S8+ using Stream TV app version 4.6.1.002.

When I click on Watch, it gives me the 106000 error, with a small Error 45 at the bottom. The video is on my device and says it is valid until 12/7. I have WiFi connected, so it should be able to authenticate if it needs to.

do you have any cables other than power adapter plugged into your Galaxy? have any kind of screen mirroring option turned on?

Re: Playback error 106000

Hi Robin

Error 45 means NO_USABLE_BITRATE_PROFILE, which shouldn't be a thing with downloads. I'm investigating with the team to see what happened.

No cables. No mirroring.

Re: Playback error 106000

I am having the exact same problem. However it isn't all of the downloaded tv shows just some of them. Also it might not work on one episode but the same show very next episode it will work on.

I deleted the show, then re-downloaded. Still fails, but this time Error 5. I guess we are the beta testers.

Re: Playback error 106000

Hi again

We believe we found the problem that you're running into. If it's what I think it is, your download is getting interrupted by either a network change or some other connectivity blip, and when it resumes it's resuming in not-quite-the-right-place, which results in a corrupted download. :-/ This is fixed in the next version of Stream for Android (4.7.0), which should be out next week if testing goes well. Thank you for your patience, and apologies for not getting it right the first time.
