I am encouraged.

I just worked 13 out of the past 14 days. I was looking forward to a couple days off and I came home to an absolute treat today.

Earlier today I signed into the 4K UHD Sampler App and for the very first time I saw 4K HDR content on my new LG OLED TV in my own home. Yes I have seen my TV running 4K HDR content in stores but today was the first time I had seen it in my house on my own system.

Many thanks to ComcastNeal and the rest of his team for making a little glimpse of the future come true...

I sincerely hope Comcast makes 4K/HDR a top priority going forward.

I couldn't agree more Rick. I hope you are seeing all three tiers on the Ultra HD Sampler app.


It was nice to compare some of the events filmed in both HDR/UHD and in UHD (standard color). You can see how much improvement there is in natural color produced by HDR.


I wish they would have given us a copy of the Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony in HDR as originally promised.
