You mean to an SD card I'm sure. Is there an option to download in the menu for the movie? did you try using an iOS device. the DRM may be set to allow download (I don't know about your particular movie) but from what I've read only 'internal' memory is allowed to be used. The nougat and oreo Android operating systems allow you to adopt an SD card basically making it part of the phone and not removable as it would disrupt the operation of the phone. The reason they do this is to have the 'file' heavily encrypted, and not accessible except to that device.  The device will 'decide' if allowed to download that it has enough acceptable type of memory to store the file.

SailorSam1, if the movie is saved to your device's internal memory, you can move the movie to your SD card via your device's file manager. You can locate your internal media memory via the DCIM folder (or any other similarly named 'video' folder'). Once you locate it, you can either copy the file or move it to the SD card (external memory.
