(Android) Xfinity TV Remote App search problem

The search function in the Xfinity TV remote app on Android is broken. Usually i search for "Formula One Racing" and I get the results and can schedule a recording directly in the app but this week it's not showing any results and in fact there is a race this weekend on channel 448 (NBC Sports).

I managed to find the race and schedule the recording directly on the TV using the remote and advancing manually day by day, but it was a lot quicker just pulling out my phone and doing it through the app.

Is this a known issue and when will it be fixed?

Thanks, noticed on your post that your app has a black background while mine is all white, which made me go into the app store and notice that Xfinity has 2 similar apps in there, one is Xfinity TV and another is Xfinity TV Remote (Which is the one i've had for years), I deleted the old Xfinity TV Remote and installed Xfinity TV and the shows now appear in search.

Just did 10-13 tv remote update today on my iPad mini, and it won't work at all, this is what happened on our regular iPad in Sept. After that update. Now it won't show tv listings or that we have any dvr in our house. Spent 1 hour on chat 2 weeks ago, followed 2 days later with an 'app specialist' no resolution for another hour. Not worth the time!!!

you may want to reinstall the xfinity TV remote app. It 'sees' what is on your home DVRs, while the TV app can only play what is on your cloud DVR (most recent 60 hours).

I had this happen and called 800-comcast and selected billing. She found the issue (was a back office issue) and got it fixed for me.
