can a computer that did not send an email be scanned to trace an email.

ex. I send an email from my home computer, can I hook up my laptop and have the hard drive scanned to see if I sent a particular email?

why not just look in the out box (or the sent mail box - or whatever it's called in your email client?

or are you trying to spy on some other computer?

there are computer forensics programs out there that may be able to find that information. as duh suggested look in your "sent" folder. from now on just don't send email that you may regret at a later date.
