Untrusted Constant Guard download site - not a valid HTTPS cert.

I tried to download Constant Guard and got this message after Comcast chat person urged me to trust this site:

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to ringo.idvaultservices.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

Technical Details

ringo.idvaultservices.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

I Understand the Risks

If you understand what's going on, you can tell Firefox to start trusting this site's identification.
Even if you trust the site, this error could mean that someone is tampering with your connection.

Don't add an exception unless you know there's a good reason why this site doesn't use trusted identification.

  What's the deal with that?

Can you provide the link that produced that result?

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The 'United States of America', for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

Re: Untrusted Constant Guard download site - not a valid HTTPS cert.

I'm getting certificate errors regardless of browser - Chrome and IE;

I cannot log into my VPN @ work - get error 403.

This is ridiculous.

I never had these problems w/ u-verse and I just switched to Comcast this weekend for the 30 day trial.  I can easily switch back if these issues don't get resolved immediately.

I am a Software Engineer and can definitely tell that this is a Comcast security issue.

I also use Linux based PCs and see the same sort of security/certificate/connectivity issues.  (So the response of using the "Comcast security suite" does not apply, nor do I want to be forced into using it.  It won't fix the problem anyway.

Is Comcast tech support able to provide substantive answers?
