Norton Security

How do I uninstall Norton Security. I have tried multiple time thru control panel to delete it.  I would like to delete because it is not working.  I get "Unspecified Error" message.  Can you help?

Re: Norton Security

Hi GenCI and welcome to the forums,

First question is do you desire to keep it- if you can get it working again?

Norton does have a tool that will remove almost everything associtated with your Norton Security Suite (NSS) installation, to include your settings.  That tool is located here:

 ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

There is another tool that can be used that saves your settings and assists with the reinstall of NSS:

Please let us know how things go.
