Norton Popup re:Latest Version for Win 10 Compatibility

[ Edited ]

There is a very long thread on the Norton Forum whiich has been going on since Aug 2nd.  There are some Norton employees supplying info in regards to what the latest status is.

If you desire to have the latest info, feel free to read the long thread:

https://community.norton.com/en/forums/cant-get-rid-splash-screen-re-windows-10

That thread should be updated and have the most current information on the progress of correcting the situation.

<EDIT>

From the Norton Forum:  User SLSALES has provided a guide to temporarily stop the popup and has graciously shared it at the following URL.

Norton is still working on a permanent fix, however you may desire to try this - at your own risk.

<EDIT#2> From Harry/Norton support:

We have released a fix for this issue. Please refer to our support article:

https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v113935352_EndUserProfile_en_us

If anyone still face this problem, please check our article and use the fix tool. Let me know if you need further help.
