Fraud ?

Fraud ?

I received a email Friday to trac my order with UPS from Xfinity I have not placed a order. When I go to UPS (not with the click on in the email) and put in the Track code it says not a legitimante number. I did that today,but clicked on the tracking number link on Friday. I am concerned that malware loaded on my computer Friday.

I have read today that they are doing this to various places to access computers for Malware. Does anyone know about this ?

You encountered one of the many phishing emails that proliferate the internet.

 

Never click on the link. It may be dangerous. To see if you became infected, do a full system scan with your antivirus program.
